Key Responsibilities

Functions & Responsibilities

  • Promote the bank’s products and services by identifying and educating prospective customers.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new customers and business clients.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with Chinese businesses and privately owned Chinese companies.
  • Understand client financial needs and provide suitable solutions using a range of banking products and services.
  • Work with Analysts to prepare client presentations, relationship reviews, credit reviews, and portfolio assessments.
  • Monitor customer compliance with agreed credit terms.
  • Negotiate foreign exchange and credit rates within approved limits to support profitability.
  • Track unit performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Participate in key events and collaborative activities within relevant business communities.
  • Partner with the Head of the Desk to build strategic relationships with embassies, financial institutions, and associations مرتبط with the desk.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of client inquiries, investigations, and escalations to maintain satisfaction.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Head, Chinese Desk.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualification

  • A good First Degree in any discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, ICAN, ACCA, or CIBN.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial services, particularly in corporate and commercial banking.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Credit and marketing expertise.
  • Solid financial analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Good presentation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to speak Chinese/Mandarin.
