Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all installations, including telecommunications, heating, electricity, and refurbishment projects.
- Manage the maintenance of equipment and supplies to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Inspect building structures to identify repair and renovation needs.
- Monitor utility consumption and implement measures to reduce operational costs.
- Supervise facility staff such as custodians, technicians, and groundskeepers, as well as external contractors.
- Oversee activities related to parking allocation, waste management, and building security.
- Allocate office space based on operational requirements.
- Manage insurance plans and service contracts.
- Maintain both financial and non-financial records.
- Conduct operational analysis and evaluations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- BSc / BA in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of technical and engineering operations as well as facilities management best practices.
- Ability to effectively function as a facilities manager.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CFM is an added advantage.
