Job Summary

Mission

  • Promote the MTN brand while delivering monthly sales targets and meeting other expectations set by the division.
  • Lead and manage a team comprising Sales Representatives, Mobilize Consultants, Field Support Agents, and SRAA personnel.

Description

  • Drive sales growth, activations, and product penetration by improving brand visibility within the assigned territory.
  • Support effective channel operations, stock management, team supervision, and relationship management with dealers and distributors.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by coordinating technical and administrative activities while supporting staff development and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive increased sales, activations, and product penetration by ensuring strong brand visibility within the assigned territory.
  • Review channel operations and stock levels to maintain proper stock management and meet customer demands effectively.
  • Coach and train direct reports to improve understanding of departmental objectives, targets, and product knowledge while identifying development opportunities.
  • Conduct performance reviews and complete appraisals in line with employee performance management procedures and timelines.
  • Coordinate technical activities and supervise direct reports while ensuring all transactions and administrative records are properly documented for business use.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and participate in organizing distributor forums and channel events to strengthen business relationships.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

  • A first Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in any Social Science degree or related course.
  • Minimum of 3 years post degree.
  • Fluent in English.

Experience:

  • 3-7 years’ experience in an area of specialization, including experience supervising others.
  • Experience working in a medium organization.
  • Experience using data mining tools.
  • Telecoms experience would be an added advantage.
