Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure sub-dealers and dealer branches are contacted while verifying stock receipt and stock movement activities.
  • Conduct informal product, service, and promotional training within retail outlets, including on-the-spot coaching for all visited outlets during call cycles.
  • Coordinate events and promotional activities, generate sub-dealer promo specifications, and carry out post-promotion evaluations.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales activity reports alongside market intelligence reports to field service engineers.
  • Monitor network quality and other sales-related performance indicators within the assigned territory and provide feedback where necessary.
  • Maintain a call cycle target of 8 - 10 outlet visits daily or as required by business operations.
  • Identify, classify, and support all distribution channel players while ensuring weekly and monthly database updates.
  • Ensure MTN product availability remains above 95% across channels and provide weekly availability reports for visited outlets.
  • Guide channel participants toward MTN’s identified growth areas within the territory.
  • Maintain channel standards and branding in line with approved channel recommendations.
  • Improve brand awareness through signage, POS material distribution, and visibility initiatives across distribution channels.
  • Support identified outlets with merchandising activities as defined by the business.
  • Build and strengthen relationships between authorized distributors, trade partners, sub-dealers, retailers, and other channel partners.
  • Resolve issues and enquiries relating to activations, products, and promotional activities.
  • Gather market intelligence and provide regular feedback to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

  • First Degree preferably in Social Sciences
  • Fluent in English

Experience:

  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in a related area of specialization with experience working with others
  • Experience working in a medium organization
  • Sales and Marketing experience within a fast-moving consumer goods environment
