Job Summary

Main Functions

  • Supervise electrical discipline technicians in executing construction, commissioning, and start-up activities to ensure readiness for plant availability, reliability, and integrity objectives.
  • Ensure the implementation of a fully functional Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) focused on electrical discipline for use during commissioning and start-up phases.
  • Support the development of a maintenance management system that delivers accurate data for preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, corrosion management, and integrity assurance processes.
  • Oversee the MRTA (Electrical discipline) scope of the project from detailed design through commissioning and start-up.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in a cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Take accountability for electrical aspects of detailed planning (L3/4) related to CMMS build scope, KPIs, and performance tracking.
  • Manage CMMS scope, including SAP-PM, spares and BOM in SAP-MM, inspection/corrosion management in S-IMS, and integration with supporting systems such as s-RBI, s-RCM, w-SIFPRO, AVEVA, and SAP-DMS/SharePoint.
  • Supervise electrical discipline activities within the MRTA scope under the ORCSU (Operations Readiness, Commissioning, and Start-up) team.
  • Participate in Maintenance Assurance reviews, including Operability & Maintainability Workshops and Reliability-Centered Maintenance Workshops.
  • Ensure delivery of all electrical-related MRTA project outputs.
  • Define the level of electrical maintenance, inspection, and engineering activities required to meet reliability, availability, and plant lifecycle objectives.
  • Oversee the establishment of the Electrical Maintenance workshop and contribute to other project infrastructure such as warehouses and passenger terminals.
  • Interface with CLIENT Asset Maintenance, Maintenance Support Services, and other departments on electrical maintenance matters.
  • Ensure full compliance with local HSE standards, regulations, permits, and consent requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Job Requirement

  • BSc Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in MRTA within the oil and gas industry, including at least 2 years in a major project environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in setting up and delivering maintenance systems within projects or asset operations.
  • Prior experience in a similar role involving complex processing, new technologies, and change management or business improvement initiatives.
  • Strong technical expertise in maintenance management aligned with MIE best practices, including planning and scheduling implementation.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and engage staff effectively.
