Key Responsibilities

  • Perform, coordinate, and supervise all process engineering activities, including the development of process deliverables.
  • Estimate project man-hours, review budgets, and maintain project schedules throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards and align with project plans and procedures.
  • Prepare and review process documentation such as data sheets, specifications, reports, studies, and calculation notes.
  • Develop and review engineering drawings including P&ID, PFD, PSFD, and related documents.
  • Prepare and review key process deliverables such as basis of design, process descriptions, design philosophy, and safety charts.
  • Establish templates and standards for process calculations and simulations.
  • Perform and review equipment sizing, including vessels, PSV, pumps, and related components.
  • Consult with process engineering specialists when necessary.
  • Prepare and review plant operation manuals.
  • Review piping designs to ensure process integrity is maintained.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, alternative evaluations, and process planning analyses.
  • Perform and review process simulations using tools such as HYSYS, PIPEHASE, PIPESIM, FLARESIM, FLARENET, and PIPENET.
  • Communicate effectively with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
  • Represent process engineering aspects during pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and test runs when required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships within the organization, with clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and participate in PHA, HAZOP, and HAZID workshops.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Lead Engineer.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in oilfield services or the energy sector is an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in process design and process engineering.
  • Proficiency in process control for safe and efficient operations.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including data interpretation.
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
