Job Summary

Mission

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the rollout of transmission infrastructure excluding BTS within MTNN.

Description

  • Support the planning and execution of transmission infrastructure projects within the organisation.
  • Maintain detailed project schedules and provide operational support across assigned projects.
  • Coordinate project resources in line with approved project plans and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress and update site-based schedules in collaboration with the Transmission Access Implementation Manager.
  • Ensure transmission delivery targets for monthly projects are achieved.
  • Oversee technical activities carried out by OEMs while ensuring proper documentation and administrative records are maintained for business use.
  • Coordinate contractors responsible for transmission infrastructure installation to ensure safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
  • Maintain effective self-supervision to ensure quality service delivery and reduced turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for assigned transmission projects.
  • Provide project support and coordinate resources according to project requirements.
  • Track project updates and implement agreed schedule adjustments.
  • Ensure monthly transmission delivery targets are achieved.
  • Supervise and coordinate technical activities carried out by OEMs.
  • Ensure all transaction and administrative documentation is properly recorded and available for operational use.
  • Schedule contractors handling transmission infrastructure installations.
  • Ensure installation targets are achieved in terms of safety, speed, and quality.
  • Maintain quality service delivery through effective self-supervision.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

  • First Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Experience:

  • 3 – 7 years of experience within a telecoms environment with experience in:
    • Microwave systems installation
    • Fibre optic transmission
    • Network Transmission systems
