SBW Berlin Scholarship is a fully funded scheme that provides support for talented young international students to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degrees at any of its partner universities in Germany.
The beneficiaries are expected to show social commitment and apply the skills they acquire during their studies in social projects at a non-profit or social organization in their home countries. This scholarship program awards aid to students from financially disadvantaged families through a generous stipend every month, accommodation, and travel allowance.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must;
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Be international students whose countries are in development support
- Hold a student visa or residence permit
- Have professional or volunteer experience
- Not have been residing in Germany for more than 18 months
Selection Process
The SBW Berlin Scholarship selects candidates based on their academic performance, interest in social commitment, and collaboration with a social institution in the country of origin. Additionally, an applicant’s will be evaluated on their transparency and clear communication regarding professional goals.

Scholarship Benefits
SBW Berlin Scholarship provides beneficiaries with full funding covering tuition fees and a room in the shared student flats in Berlin, Germany. The benefits include allowance for living expenses and a travel allowance for the journey to Berlin and back to your country.
