Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg for Renewable Energies PhD Scholarship empowers international students from countries around the globe with funding to pursue postgraduate research work in Germany.
Through this scholarship, doctorate students will have the unique opportunity to conduct high-quality research within a world-class scientific and technical infrastructure on an attractive campus at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nuremberg’s South Campus.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must have master’s degree in chemistry or materials science
- The Candidate is expected to be complete with excellent grades
- Candidate shoul be highly motivated to pursue a PhD within 3 years
- Applicant must desmonstrate ability to show initiative and work independently
- Applicant must prove English language proficiency
- Applicant should have in-depth knowledge of synthetic and analytical polymer chemistry and membrane technology.
- Applicant should have knowledge of alkaline solid electrolyte polymers, and their application in electrochemical membrane processes such as fuel cells and water electrolysis would be an asset.
