The Erasmus Mundus EMOTION Scholarship, one of the programs under the Erasmus Joint Masters, will support academically brilliant students from different parts of the world to undertake graduate studies in the 2025 cycle. Recipients would be pursuing Master’s degree in skin health and care. It is a fully funded program that allows qualified candidates to equip themselves with expertise in dermatology, cosmetics, and related fields. This scheme is being conducted in partnership with top universities across Italy, Spain, and Belgium.
Students selected to participate in the 2025 EMOTION Scholarship will be awarded tuition fee waivers, monthly stipends and travel allowances. The scholarship will also cover health insurance and in the course of the program, students can learn advanced topics like skin physiopathology, ingredient development, and clinical testing. This scholarship will be valid for two years, within which time the students can benefit from thematic workshops, industry-led sessions, and a six-month internship in academia or industry.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements for the EMOTION Scholarship are as follows;
- Applicant must be foreign national of a country outside Europe.
- Applicant must be a bachelor’s degree holder in fields such as biology, chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmacology.
- To be eligible, candidate must prove pass the English language proficiency tests (IELTS or TOEFL)
- Candidates from certain English-speaking countries may be exempted from proving language proficiency
- Students in their final year of a bachelor’s degree program can apply for the scholarship with proof of expected graduation.

Scholarship Benefits
As a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus EMOTION Scholarship, you will be awarded full tuition fee scholarship, a monthly stipend, and housing assistance to cover accommodation costs. The funding scheme will provide travel allowance for the recipients airfare and mobility between host universities. Additionally, the benefits include – health insurance, and reimbursement of visa fees.
