The Bundestag IPS Africa Scholarship offers financial support to African students who intend to pursue their studies in Germany. This is a four-week compact program that provides Africans the opportunity to know German parliamentary democracy and the political decision-making processes.
International Parliamentary Fellowship (IPS Africa) designed the initiative for politically and socially engaged young university graduates from Southern and West Africa to explore a scholarship program in Berlin.
Since 2020, the German Bundestag, under the patronage of the President of the Bundestag, has been offering empowering talented, cosmopolitan and politically interested young people from sub-Saharan Africa with financial support to learn about the German parliamentary system and later play an active role in shaping the democratic future of their countries.
