
The University of Basel is the oldest higher institution in Switzerland. This public university, established in 1460, has its main campus in Basel. Through the Biozentrum PhD Fellowships, the University of Basel is offering financial support to students to pursue PhD degree in Molecular Life Sciences. The scheme targets talented and highly motivated individuals interested in various research topics.
The aim of setting up the Biozentrum program is to encourage talented, ambitious, and highly motivated young scientists from around the world to explore opportunities in Switzerland. It is awarded on a competitive basis to a maximum of 10 successful candidates per year.
Eligibility Criteria
Outlined below are the requirements that must be fulfilled to be eligible for this program.
- Candidate must be a foreigner.
- Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidate must be a master’s degree holder
- Candidate must have applied to a Molecular Life Sciences program (PhD)
