
The Beacon Scholarship, under the Beacon Changemakers banner, is a funding program that targets students from around the world who wish to further their education in the United Kingdom.
Beacon Equity Trust sponsors this scholarship for bachelor’s studies in five UK higher institutions. The program is open to African citizens planning to pursue their undergraduate degrees at one of the partner universities.
The scholarship application and selection process involves candidates being nominated by their current School Head, within which they will apply for admission to the university of choice.

Eligibility Criteria

Outlined below are the requirements you must fulfill.
- Candidate must have received an offer letter
- Applicant must be a citizen of an eligible country
- Student must hold an important position in their school
- Student must engage in extracurricular activities (music, sports, drama)
- Applicant must be committed to impacting their home country

Scholarship Benefits
The financial aid that recipients are to be awarded will be determined by the providing institution or organization and communicated to successful candidates.
Application Procedure
- Applicants’ School Head must first nominate them
- There is an Eligibility Assessment Form for candidates to fill
- Eligible candidates will then receive an invitation to apply for the scholarship
