Asian Institute of Technology, AIT, is an international English-speaking postgraduate institution situated in Khlong Nueng, Thailand. It was founded in 1959 as an organization for higher education specializing in engineering, advanced technologies, environment, and management studies.
The 2025/2026 scholarship being offered by the Asian Institute of Technology Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that targets international students looking to undertake master’s program for two years.
Sponsored in partnership with AAPICO Public Company Limited, the AIT scholarship program covers the candidates tuition fees and provides stipend during the course of their studies in Thailand. The special funding program is committed to academic excellence, respect and freedom.
Scholarship Departments
The departments outlined below have been approved for participation in the Master’s scholarship at the Asian Institute of Technology.
- Department of Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE)
- Department of Information Communications and Technologies (preferably in Data Science & AI, IoT programs)
- School of Management in Business Analytic & Digital Transformation program
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants are eligible if they;
- Meet the English proficiency requirements (AIT-English Entry Test (AIT-EET):6 or IELTS-Academic:6 with writing score 6)
- Have Bachelors degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75
- Maintain a 3.25 CGPA 3.25 higher to retain the AAPICO Scholarship.
- Have research/thesis topics that are of interest to AAPICO company
- Upon graduation, the recipient will be considered for employment at AAPICO for at least two times the duration of his or her study under the scholarship.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates that have been selected to benefit from the Asian Institute of Technology Scholarship will be provided with fully-funded aid. This means it will cover their tuition fees and stipends will be disbursed.

- Gather the following documents all in one combined PDF file;
- Cover letter
- Academic diplomas and certificates.
- Project proposal with pitching ideas that may lead to commercial products/start-ups (2 pages maximum)
- CV with Information about education, exams, and previous relevant work/research experience.
- Publications relevant to the research scope
- Names and contact information of at least two references.
