My family owns 4 power plants, we distribute energy to most of Nigeria – Davido [Video]

Ace singer and music executive, David Adeleke, otherwise known as Davido, has stirred debate online with a bold claim that his family’s assets.

The Omo Baba Olowo said his family has about four power plants which significantly contribute to Nigeria’s energy needs.

Speaking during a recent interview on Business Untitled, Davido said the plant owned by Adeleke family is responsible for distributing electricity to most parts of Nigeria.

While talking about his family business and personal investments, the record label founder revealed that he tried to go into cryptocurrency investment because that is what is buzzing in Nigeria.

The 31-year-old Grammy nominated artiste, also said he once tried to work with American rapper. He added that the main business he focus on is the music which he loves very much. He added that

Furthermore, Davido opened up about wanting to open a restaurant for his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland in Atlanta, Georgia in the USA.

He said; “We tried to do something with Nas sometime but we just tried to go into cryptocurrency because Nigeria is big on crypto. Apart from that, me and my family have like four power plants worth like a lot of money.

“We distribute energy to most of Nigeria. My wife is into culinary. We are trying to start a restaurant for her. But my main business is what I love; my music.”
