Nigerian skit-maker and artiste, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, popularly known as Nasboi, has boasted that he is better than a lot of musicians in Nigeria.
He made the bold statement when he appeared on an episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, co-hosted by Tolanibaj and Moet Abebe.
The popular online comedian bragged about being very he was certain he was better than many of the Nigerian singers.
“I am better than a lot of musicians out there. I put my life to that sh*t. I’m way better than a lot of musicians. I know it,” he said.
Nasboi also talked about his relationship with Wizkid and Davido, saying: “I used to be a Wizkid fan. I loved Wizkid. I love Davido so much because I am close to him. I don’t know Wizkid. I have never seen Wizkid in my life.”
Meanwhile, CorrectNG recalls that the content creator said he will choose music over comedy if he is mandated to pick one.
He revealed in an interview that he started his entertainment career as a musician, but it was hunger and depression that made him to start doing comedy.
Nasboi, who dropped a song that trended months ago titled, ‘Umbrella’ also dismissed speculations that he wants to dump skit-making. He said he intends to combine both.
He said; “I would choose music, because it is my first love. Comedy came later. Though I have always been quite funny, it was actually hunger and depression that made me start comedy. Funnily enough, I am a very shy person.
“I have not stopped comedy. I intend to create a balance, though I know I might not move at the same pace as before, but I will surely do both.”
