Nigerian TV and radio presenter, Toke Makinwa has given a less-than-expected response to an online troll who mocked her for being unmarried.
Toke Makinwa had taken to TikTok to bare her mind regarding the buzz around music star, Davido and Chioma’s marriage while emphasizing the pressure on single people, including herself.
A man identified as Nelson Oluu on Twitter decided to comment on the relationship status of the 39-year-old OAP and noted that she is now in her “unmarried era.”
He wrote; “You have passed the single era, you are now unmarried”.
Responding, the media personality affirmed that she will one day get married. She also expressed optimism that he will be alive to congratulate her when God eventually gives her a man.
“God will do my own and you’ll be alive to congratulate me. Happy Sunday o,” Toke Makinwa wrote.
In another post, she added; “If I curse am now, you’ll say I’m mean. Love n light”.
