University of Victoria is a public institute of higher learning based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Established in 1963, UViC is the oldest university in British Columbia and one of Canada’s top comprehensive universities.
The 2025 University of Victoria International Entrance Scholarship is partially funded and awarded to academically outstanding students from countries around the world to pursue undergraduate studies at the Canadian institution.
Uvic offers degree programs to over 21,000 students in all fields to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD Students. Applications are open and interested candidates are welcome to apply for a chance to study at a top university in Canada.
Tuition Fees
International students studying bachelor’s degree courses on a full-time basis at the University of Victoria generally pay tuition fees of $2,746 per term (4 months). For domestic students, the tuition fee is fixed at $2,177 per term.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicant;
- Must be an international student
- Must be admitted to the University of Victoria
- Must send in an interim transcript if you are currently in secondary school or
- Send a final transcript (if a student has graduated within two years of application and has not attended another post-secondary institution)
- Eligible international candidates are automatically referred to Student Awards & Financial Aid by Undergraduate Admissions.
Benefits of Scholarship
The University of Victoria Entrance scholarships for international undergraduates will provide beneficiaries entering the first year of a bachelor’s degree program with one or more scholarships worth at least $5,000. The entrance scholarships are awarded either based solely on admission average or based on admission average and other criteria (application required).
Application Procedure
You must first secure an offer of admission from the University of Victoria before you’ll be considered for the scholarship.
- Visit the university’s website
- Create a NetLink ID
- Sign in to UVic Online tools using your Netlink ID
- Select “Student services.”
- Select “Awards and financial aid”
- Select “Apply for awards (scholarships and bursaries) and work-study”
- Select the Aid year and Period and the relevant application:
- It is the student’s responsibility to send in all required supporting documentation to [email protected] by April 30. Please ensure that your UVic ID, full name, and the scholarship you are applying for are in the subject line.
