Gilberto Silva has posited that a summer transfer which could see Neymar playing for English Premier League club, Arsenal is “not impossible.”
Neymar has endured a miserable time since moving to Saudi Arabia, playing just a few games for Al-Hilal before a major injury struck.
He hasn’t featured for them since the team went on to claim the domestic title weeks ago. It is Neymar’s first year away from Europe since joining Barcelona back in 2013.
Silva who recently had a chat with Bet365, said it would be interesting to see Neymar with Arsenal as such a move will bring a lot of joy to fans.
The former Arsenal midfielder expressed the belief the 32-year-old Brazilian still has a lot to offer and would fit in at the club.
He said: “I’d love to see Neymar in the Premier League with Arsenal, it would be interesting, that’s for sure. It would bring a lot of joy to fans and make the competition even more special.
“When you look at the Premier League, we want to see the best players in the world and to have him around would be great. Let’s see. It’s not impossible that he could join Arsenal, why not.”
