
Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD) is a Christian organization that offers scholarships to international Catholic students pursuing postgraduate studies in Germany.
This program targets academically outstanding students from developing countries and offers them financial aid to study master’s and PhD courses at universities in the country. KAAD’s scholarship is divided into the Invitation Programme, In-country Programme and Third-country Programme
The Invitation Programme is coordinated in collaboration with the focus countries and is aimed at students with proven professional experience who are usually invited to Germany for postgraduate studies or research.
Tuition Fees
If you wish to enroll in a program at any public university in Germany, the tuition fees they charge usually range from 1400 euros to about 2500 euros.
Eligibility Criteria

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for the scholarship.
- Applicant must be a national of an emerging or developing nation
- Applicant must be a Catholic
- Applicant should have university degree (bachelor’s / master’s)
- Applicants are required to prove language proficiency
Scholarship Benefits
Under the KAAD Scholarship scheme, recipients will receive full financial support which comprises tuition fees, accommodation, and other expenses.
