Job Summary
The Van Sales Representative is responsible for using a company vehicle to serve retail customers and ensure that Saro Agrosciences Limited products are available and visible along assigned routes at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and strictly adhere to assigned route plans
- Develop and maintain a customer list including names, contact persons, addresses, and phone numbers
- Sell company products to current and potential retail outlets or customers
- Deliver targets for sales KPIs, including call rate, IMS, collection, strike rate, and average order size per call
- Ensure products are sold according to the official company price list
- Maintain the van properly according to company guidelines
- Keep a driver’s logbook with itineraries, fuel consumption, and maintenance records
- Support development and implementation of marketing plans for assigned territory
- Report issues relating to customer and consumer satisfaction
- Develop existing and new retail customers to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales and revenue targets
Requirements & Qualifications
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be resident in the city of operation
- Ability to speak the local language of the area
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity and ability to work under pressure
- Computer literacy
