The Transport Manager will oversee and coordinate the transportation of petroleum products (PMS/AGO) to end-users, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. The role involves planning routes, monitoring costs, maintaining records, and enforcing compliance with safety and shipping regulations. The Transport Manager will also supervise and train staff to uphold operational excellence and safety standards.

• Plan and supervise the transportation of products (PMS/AGO) to end-users.
• Schedule daily and weekly routes for delivery.
• Track orders using functional systems.
• Monitor and report on transportation costs.
• Ensure loading documents are properly filed.
• Report maintenance and repair needs for trucks and equipment.
• Research and suggest cost-effective transportation methods.
• Conduct regular safety audits on trucks.
• Organize training sessions for employees, including proper use of machinery and handling hazardous materials.
• Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules, and completed orders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation.
• Stay up-to-date with safety regulations.

• B.Sc / HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or any related course.
• 10–15 years of proven experience as a Transportation Manager or similar role.
• Vast knowledge of petroleum haulage and transportation.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management.
• Experience in preparing and tracking orders.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
