The company has recently entered the Home & Personal Care category with the 2SURE brand, launching its first product, a Hand & Surface Sanitizer. Seven Up operates nine bottling plants with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities strategically located across Nigeria.

Job Summary

The Territory Development Manager is responsible for selling the company’s products to customers while ensuring coverage, sales efficiency, and effective execution of the business strategy in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers
  • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs
  • Implement the cascaded annual business strategy to promote business success
  • Execute sales and trade marketing product display and merchandising techniques for efficiency
  • Ensure direct reports cover assigned routes and submit daily reports
  • Monitor sales performance of direct reports
  • Set up meetings with potential clients to negotiate and close deals
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects, share with internal teams, and ensure prompt resolutions
  • Submit daily sales reviews and reports to the line manager
  • Ensure availability of stock for sale
  • Execute the route-to-market strategy
  • Stay up to date with latest sales trends and best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

  • B.Sc or HND in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 6 years FMCG sales experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/Sales Management tools
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies is an advantage
