Halliburton is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Tech Prof - DES, III. The company is looking for individuals who want to innovate, achieve, grow, and lead, while contributing to one of the world’s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.

• Provide support to office and field operations related to well planning and BHA design and operation under broad direction
• Assist in publishing commercial and technical successes
• Deliver solution requirements for designing well plans, following anti collision processes, BHA design modeling requirements, and generating design of service documentation
• Generate reports using current software applications
• Apply the principles of survey management to well planning
• Develop and maintain relationships with the technical customer base
• Consult with customers to determine specific needs
• Maintain well planning and BHA design databases and assist in preparing post job analysis for customers
• Perform post job reviews and participate in product or service failure investigations, reporting findings to customers
• Supervise and peer review work while mentoring less experienced team members
• Provide advice on equipment capabilities and guide customers and field personnel on technical complexity and operations

• Undergraduate Degree in a STEM discipline, preferably Engineering
• Minimum of 4 years relevant industry experience including experience working at the well site
