Job Summary

The company is recruiting organized and responsible individuals to maintain adequate stock levels to support daily distribution needs within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive goods in the stockroom, unpack deliveries, and verify items against delivery documentation
  • Inspect delivered items for damage or discrepancies and report findings to the Head of Store and Head, Internal Audit or Control
  • Arrange spare parts using identifying codes and store them according to the inventory system
  • Maintain updated inventory records and conduct periodic stock counts to confirm accuracy
  • Recommend items that require replenishment to the Head of Store promptly
  • Maintain proper documentation to support stock level monitoring and inventory control policies
  • Ensure safe storage of items to prevent damage
  • Carry out other stock related duties including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
  • Perform additional related tasks when assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

  • OND only in Mechanical Engineering, Accounting, Store Management, Purchasing Management, Business Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years work experience in Store Management or a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Competence in data entry, analysis, and record management
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and other software packages, including ERP systems
