Solar System Installation Engineer at Ecolion Power Technology Investment Company Limited

The company has independent R and D capabilities and has been active in the new energy sector for many years, exporting its products to multiple countries and regions. As part of its expansion into Nigeria, Ecolion Power has established a local branch to support the development of the country’s energy sector and promote its brand in the Nigerian market.

The role involves the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training for solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems in Nigeria. The position also includes supporting after sales services, maintaining installation records, and assisting with technical improvements through documented fault cases.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on site survey, solution implementation, installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems including lithium batteries, inverters, and photovoltaic panels
• Ensure stable and efficient operation of installed systems

Local Project Installation and Commissioning

• Perform installation and commissioning activities for solar systems within Nigeria
• Handle system setup and ensure operational efficiency

Local After Sales Service Response

• Respond to after sales repair requests from customers
• Troubleshoot equipment faults and carry out repairs and parts replacement
• Minimize downtime for customers

Customer Training and Communication

• Provide training to customers on equipment operation and daily maintenance
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain good customer relationships

Fault Case Compilation

• Record installation data, equipment faults, and solutions
• Develop case records to support technical optimization

Educational Background and Major

• Associate Degree or above
• Preferred fields include Electrical Engineering, Automation, New Energy Technology, Mechatronics, or related disciplines

Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems
• Ability to install, commission, and troubleshoot equipment such as inverters and lithium battery packs
• Ability to read circuit and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency in using testing tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• 1 to 3 years experience in photovoltaic, energy storage, or power equipment installation and maintenance is preferred
• Electrician license or relevant professional certification is preferred

Language Skills

• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of Hausa, Yoruba, or other Nigerian languages is preferred

Additional Requirements

• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Proficient use of testing tools
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria and work outdoors
