Key Responsibilities

The position we are offering involves the following main responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule across all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • Lead schedule baselining and ensure compliance with planning procedures and change-control processes
  • Monitor project progress, analyze deviations, and implement mitigation or recovery strategies
  • Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, KPIs, dashboards, and critical path updates
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to project leadership
  • Coordinate planning activities with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Lead planning review meetings and contribute to project-level decision-making
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation for audits, claims, and contractual reporting

Requirements & Qualifications

Required Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Senior Planning or Project Controls role on large-scale Oil & Gas or EPC projects
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project
  • Solid understanding of EPC workflows, procurement cycles, and construction sequencing
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE are considered an asset
  • Experience working in Africa or remote environments is an added advantage
