Job Summary

Odixcity Consulting is recruiting a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to oversee the reliability, scalability, and security of a platform serving over 3 million users. The role involves leading migration toward a Compliance as Code environment, managing high performance GKE clusters, and maintaining a robust CI/CD ecosystem with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code and edge-layer security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and maintain production grade GKE environments using Terraform, ensuring all cloud resources are version controlled and reproducible
  • Manage Cloudflare configurations including WAF rules, load balancing, workers, and DDoS mitigation
  • Design and optimise CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Travis CI for automated testing, security scanning, and blue green deployments to GKE
  • Optimise MongoDB clusters for high frequency transactions and sharding, ensuring horizontal scalability
  • Implement Zero Trust security within GKE and automate security headers and SSL/TLS management via Cloudflare
  • Collaborate with backend teams to optimise Node.js performance within the cluster, focusing on resource limits, signal handling, and database connection pooling

Requirements & Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification
  • DevOps Engineer certification is an advantage
  • Experience with GitOps workflows such as ArgoCD or Flux
  • Knowledge of SOC 2 or HIPAA compliance auditing in a cloud environment

Technical Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with GKE, VPC peering, and IAM on GCP
  • Proven expertise in managing complex Terraform environments including modules, state management, and workspaces
  • Hands on experience with Cloudflare for traffic steering and security
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining pipelines using GitHub Actions and Travis CI
  • Experience managing MongoDB at scale including sharding, replica sets, and performance tuning
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js with the ability to contribute to architectural discussions
