Job Summary

The firm is seeking a highly driven, commercially astute, and entrepreneurial Senior Relationship Manager to join its Wealth Management division. This role is central to the firm’s growth strategy.

The successful candidate will originate new Ultra High Net Worth client relationships, grow Assets Under Management, deepen existing client engagements, and contribute directly to financial performance targets. This is a senior revenue generating role suited to a relationship driven professional with strong investment knowledge and proven business development capability.

The position is fast paced, performance oriented, and highly visible within the organisation. Cultural alignment, discretion, and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Originate and onboard new UHNW client relationships through personal networks, referrals, and strategic outreach
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities across Abuja, Lagos, London, Chicago, and Dubai
  • Develop and execute structured business development plans aligned with firm growth objectives
  • Present the firm’s value proposition to prospects and intermediaries
  • Convert prospects into long term advisory relationships
  • Retain client Assets Under Management
  • Drive measurable AUM growth by achieving defined revenue and growth targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned clients
  • Develop strong understanding of client financial objectives, risk appetite, and long term goals
  • Coordinate with the Investment Advisory team to deliver tailored portfolio solutions
  • Ensure exceptional client experience through proactive communication and responsiveness
  • Manage onboarding processes, documentation, and ongoing service requirements
  • Retain and grow existing relationships through cross selling and strategic engagement

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Achieve agreed AUM growth and revenue targets
  • Monitor profitability of client relationships
  • Identify opportunities to increase wallet share within existing relationships
  • Support pricing discussions and fee negotiations in alignment with firm policy
  • Contribute to the firm’s overall financial performance objectives

Brand Representation & Market Positioning

  • Represent the firm at industry events, networking functions, and private forums
  • Build relationships with professional intermediaries including lawyers, accountants, trustees, and corporate advisors
  • Strengthen market visibility within UHNW and family office circles
  • Contribute to thought leadership and strategic positioning initiatives
  • Mentor and develop junior talent as the firm grows

Requirements & Qualifications

  • BSc Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
  • MBA, CFA, CISI, or CFP designation or equivalent qualification strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in private banking, wealth management, family office, or asset management
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MacOS Keynote, Numbers, and Pages
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Demonstrated track record of bringing in new client assets
  • Portable book of UHNW or HNW client relationships preferred
  • Strong understanding of multi asset investment solutions, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and financial products
  • Proven ability to grow revenue and meet performance targets
  • Experience managing complex multi jurisdictional client relationships
  • Strong network of UHNW clients and prospects
  • Strong presentation and proposal development skills
  • Solid numeric ability and attention to detail
