Job Summary
Suacasa Nigeria Limited is recruiting a proactive and competent Safety Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across its construction project sites. The role involves ensuring adherence to safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing workplace risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor site safety policies and procedures
- Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments
- Identify hazards and enforce corrective actions
- Lead safety inductions, drills, and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Maintain safety documentation and compliance records
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements
- Promote continuous safety awareness across project sites
Requirements & Qualifications
- B.Sc or HND in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, or related discipline
- NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or other recognized safety certification is required
- Professional membership with relevant safety bodies is an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in construction health and safety management
