React Developer at Maduka University

Maduka University is seeking a creative and performance driven React Developer to build and maintain modern, responsive web applications that support academic operations, student portals, e learning systems, and administrative platforms.

The role involves developing intuitive user interfaces and ensuring seamless integration with backend services.

• Develop and maintain scalable front end applications using React.js
• Build reusable components and front end libraries for future use
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
• Implement responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code
• Conduct debugging, testing, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI and UX designers, and system administrators
• Ensure security and data protection best practices are implemented

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2 to 4 years experience working with React.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and state management such as Redux
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience with Git version control systems
• Understanding of responsive and cross browser development
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Competencies

• Experience with Next.js or server side rendering
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Knowledge of UI frameworks such as Material UI or Bootstrap
• Experience developing educational platforms or ERP systems
• Basic understanding of cloud deployment environments such as AWS or Azure
