Job Summary
Oracle is recruiting a Partner Account Manager responsible for executing Oracle Technology Cloud partner strategy in Nigeria, with possible collaboration across West Africa. The role focuses on driving cloud consumption growth through system integrators and service providers, developing partner relationships, and managing joint business initiatives that support revenue and pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute Oracle Technology Cloud partner strategy in Nigeria, with potential collaboration across West Africa
- Drive measurable cloud consumption growth through system integrators and service providers
- Develop and execute joint business plans with managed partners, including revenue targets, pipeline objectives, and marketing alignment
- Engage at executive level within partner organizations to secure sponsorship, commitment, and loyalty
- Recruit and onboard new partners by identifying market gaps and new business opportunities
- Build and track joint sales pipeline through co selling strategies, targeted account planning, and structured opportunity management
- Work with partners to progress opportunities through qualification, closure, implementation, and ongoing consumption
- Enable partners through certifications, training, and solution alignment to support Oracle based service offerings
- Establish engagement rules and escalation procedures to support operational execution and issue resolution
- Track pipeline performance, partner performance, and cloud consumption to support forecasting
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and performance targets
- Position partner capabilities internally across Oracle teams to support execution
- Collaborate with international and global teams to align with Alliances and Channels standards and corporate initiatives
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Economics, Marketing, Business, or related field
- 10 to 15 years of enterprise technology sales or partner ecosystem experience, preferably within Nigeria
- Minimum of 5 years experience driving cloud or subscription based technology growth
- Experience working with system integrators and service providers in enterprise and public sector environments
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly IaaS and PaaS
- Ability to influence executive level stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience managing co marketing initiatives and partner led sales campaigns
- Strong forecasting ability, commercial discipline, and pipeline management skills
- Strong knowledge of the local IT ecosystem with an established professional network
- Ability to operate in complex and non routine business environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and applicable local languages
