Hotel Capitol is a modern three star hotel located in Omole Phase 1. The hotel provides luxury and comfort with 32 rooms, including deluxe executive rooms, super executive rooms, and one bedroom and two bedroom luxury suites. The hotel is centrally located with road access to different parts of Lagos mainland.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Personnel will ensure that the hotel’s facilities, equipment, and systems remain in good working condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing maintenance including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, maintaining water systems, and ensuring efficient water usage
- Carry out electrical maintenance such as repairing lighting, power outlets, generators, and electrical equipment
- Service and maintain air conditioning and HVAC systems, including routine inspections and temperature regulation
- Handle general repairs including furniture, doors, and locks, and respond to guest maintenance requests
- Ensure safety and compliance by maintaining fire safety systems, conducting inspections, and reporting faults to management
- Collaborate with other departments and provide maintenance updates when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Trade certificate or diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance
- Knowledge of troubleshooting, basic repairs, and safety procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
