Interior Architect at RA Trading and Investment

R.A Think Design is described as Nigeria's foremost manufacturer of custom interior designs. It is an Israeli Nigerian interior design and custom made furniture company that delivers both commercial and residential projects.

RA Trading and Investment is recruiting an Interior Architect responsible for developing interior design concepts, planning interior spaces, preparing design documentation, and managing projects from concept through execution. The role involves client collaboration, space planning, material selection, presentation development, and coordination with contractors and project teams.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and design goals
• Develop design concepts aligned with client requirements, functional considerations, and design principles
• Create mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas
• Analyze available space and develop efficient floor plans and layouts
• Determine placement of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and decorative elements to optimize space utilization
• Consider lighting, acoustics, accessibility, and sustainability in planning
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and textures
• Stay updated on trends, products, and technologies within the interior design industry
• Prepare detailed specifications and material boards
• Create presentations and visual representations using CAD, 3D modeling, and rendering software
• Develop construction drawings, specifications, and schedules for contractors
• Maintain accurate project documentation including design plans and material specifications
• Build positive client relationships and provide professional advice
• Present design proposals and refine concepts based on client feedback
• Manage multiple projects while meeting timelines and budget constraints

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Master's degree may be preferred for senior roles
• Minimum of 3 years experience in interior design, preferably architectural projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Studio Max, or similar software
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to interior design
• Strong creativity, artistic ability, and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate design ideas effectively through presentations and documentation
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and familiarity with LEED principles is desirable
• Project management and organizational skills
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
