The hotel provides luxury and comfort with 32 rooms, including deluxe executive rooms, super executive rooms, and one bedroom and two bedroom luxury suites. The location offers convenient road access to different parts of mainland Lagos.

Job Summary

Hotel Capitol is recruiting a qualified candidate to fill the position of HR Personnel to manage recruitment, staff development, and human resource operations across its hotel chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle recruitment needs for all hotel branches
  • Conduct staff training and development programmes
  • Design compensation and benefits packages
  • Implement performance review procedures including quarterly, annual, and 360 degree evaluations
  • Develop HR policies and ensure employee compliance
  • Implement effective sourcing, screening, and interviewing methods
  • Assess training needs and coordinate employee learning and development initiatives
  • Serve as the point of contact for labour legislation matters
  • Manage employee grievances
  • Monitor employee retention and turnover rates

Requirements & Qualifications

  • BSc or HND in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Female candidates are preferred
  • Proven experience as an HR Executive or similar role
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience with full cycle recruitment
  • Good knowledge of labour legislation including employment contracts, employee leave, and insurance
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage
  • Applicants must reside within Ogba, Ikeja, Agege, Ojodu, or Ketu axis
