Hotel Waiter / Waitress at Hotel Capitol

Hotel Capitol is a three star hotel located in Omole Phase 1, Lagos. The hotel offers furnished deluxe executive rooms, super executive rooms, and one and two bedroom luxury suites. It is positioned in a central location with road access to major parts of mainland Lagos.

The hotel is recruiting suitable candidates for the role of Waiter or Waitress to support food and beverage service operations and ensure guests receive proper service.

• Handle guest bills and invoices while maintaining quality service delivery
• Maintain cleanliness and adequate service supplies at service stations
• Be familiar with all food and beverage items on the menu
• Prepare service areas including setting and resetting tables and performing light cleaning tasks
• Take guest food and beverage orders and upsell where possible
• Operate the outlet point of sales system as required
• Ensure all sales are accurately recorded and follow procedures for ordering, voiding, or correcting items
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards
• Clear tables and transfer used dishes to the dish area
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Attend to special guest requests related to food and beverage preparation when possible
• Follow presentation standards set by management
• Provide room service in line with service standards, ensuring speed and accuracy
• Report to the Restaurant Supervisor at the beginning of each shift for instructions, assignments, menu updates, and guest feedback
• Forward captain order slips to the kitchen or supervisor for food and drink preparation
• Maintain familiarity with menu items, promotional items, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation standards

• Minimum of National Diploma
• Candidates must reside within Akute, Ojodu, Ikeja, Agege, Ogba, or Iyana Ipaja axis
