Hotel Capitol is a modern three star hotel designed to provide luxury and comfort. The hotel is located in Omole Phase 1 and offers easy access to major road networks connecting other parts of the mainland and the city of Lagos. The hotel features 32 rooms, including deluxe executive and super executive rooms, as well as one bedroom and two bedroom luxury suites.
Job Summary
Hotel Capitol is recruiting qualified candidates for the position of Hotel Receptionist.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests professionally during arrival and departure
- Handle check in and check out procedures while ensuring accuracy of guest records and billing
- Manage reservations, room allocations, and guest inquiries through phone, email, and in person communication
- Provide information about hotel services, transportation options, dining options, and nearby attractions
- Maintain proper records of guest accounts, payments, and room availability
- Address guest complaints promptly and escalate unresolved matters to the supervisor when necessary
- Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for guests
- Operate the hotel front office management system and keep records updated
- Process cash and card payments and prepare shift reports accurately
- Maintain hotel policies, grooming standards, and service quality
Requirements & Qualifications
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 to 2 years work experience
- Candidates must reside within Ojodu, Ogba, Ketu, or Agege axis
