The hotel is located in Omole Phase 1 and is easily accessible through major road networks connecting different parts of Lagos. The hotel features 32 rooms including deluxe executive rooms, super executive rooms, and one bedroom and two bedroom luxury suites.
Job Summary
The hotel is seeking a skilled and creative Chef to oversee kitchen operations and deliver quality meals to guests. The role involves menu planning, meal preparation, supervision of kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and present meals that meet hotel quality standards and guest expectations
- Develop menus including daily specials while considering seasonal availability, guest preferences, and cost control
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain portion control, reduce food wastage, and support cost effective kitchen management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in line with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies and place orders when necessary
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to encourage teamwork and efficiency
- Stay informed about culinary trends and introduce innovative ideas to menu offerings
- Collaborate with hotel management in planning special events, banquets, and catering services
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times
Requirements & Qualifications
- Culinary School qualification
- Minimum of 2 years work experience
