ZTE Corporation is seeking a qualified FTTH Project Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) project execution in Borno. The role involves supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, coordinating subcontractors, and supporting technical operations to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

• Supervise on-site construction activities, including:
  • Fiber cable laying
  • Fiber splicing
  • Splitter and cabinet installation
  • Equipment setup
• Ensure project quality, safety, and progress align with design specifications and standard requirements
• Coordinate subcontractor work plans, materials, and manpower to achieve timely delivery
• Conduct site inspections and prepare daily and weekly progress and quality reports
• Provide troubleshooting support, technical guidance, and corrective actions for on-site issues
• Implement and monitor EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) compliance across all project sites
• Manage and organize construction documentation for project acceptance and audit purposes

• Diploma or higher qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related fields
• Minimum of 1 year telecom field experience, preferably in FTTH/FTTX projects
• Strong understanding of:
  • ODN network structure
  • Fiber splicing and testing
  • Construction standards
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and travel frequently for on-site assignments
• EHS or telecom vendor certifications (Huawei, ZTE, FiberHome, etc.) will be considered an advantage
