Digital and Media Executive at Saro Agrosciences Limited

Saro Agrosciences Limited is the flagship company of the Saroafrica International Group, established in 1991. It is a leading player in Nigeria’s agriculture sector, providing superior agro-inputs such as crop protection products, seeds, and fertilizers, alongside knowledge to empower farmers to increase yield and improve livelihoods sustainably.

The Digital and Media Executive manages the company’s social media and digital platforms to increase brand visibility, promote product adoption, and engage target audiences. The role includes close collaboration with external agencies to execute digital campaigns aligned with company objectives.

Social Media Management

• Collaborate with digital agencies to develop and execute social media strategies aligned with SAS crops and growing seasons
• Coordinate creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and audience engagement to optimize content performance
• Build and maintain online communities by responding to inquiries and feedback
• Maintain a positive brand image and encourage active audience participation

Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Review and interpret social media performance reports provided by digital agencies
• Translate performance data into insights and recommendations for improvement
• Provide summarized performance updates to the Head of Marketing to support decision-making

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Second Class Upper, 2:1)
• 3–5 years’ experience in digital marketing or social media management
• Age range: 26–32 years

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of social media marketing, content strategy, and SEO
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, or Adobe Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
• Knowledge of agricultural trends and crop production is an advantage
