The company is recruiting a Credit Officer to support lending operations by assessing client creditworthiness and processing loan documentation. The role is based in Offa, Owode Market, Kwara State, and involves ensuring clients meet lending requirements while facilitating timely loan processing.

• Review loan requests
• Assess clients’ financial status
• Evaluate creditworthiness and potential risks
• Contact clients to obtain financial data and required documentation
• Analyse risks and approve or reject loan applications
• Set up repayment plans
• Maintain updated records of loan applications
• Follow up with clients regarding loan renewals
• Monitor the progress of existing loans
• Handle daily and weekly repayment collection

• NCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc in Banking and Finance, Economics, or related field
• Proven work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or similar role
• Practical knowledge of lending procedures and financial products
• Ability to prepare and manage financial spreadsheets
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service experience
