Controversial producer Samklef has claimed to be behind the latest arrest of social media influencer and critic, Martin Vincent Otse better known as VeryDarkman.
It was reported on Sunday, June 30 that police rearrested VeryDarkman, on undisclosed allegation weeks after he was released.
The online activist has been in and out of police custody and he’s spent almost a month behind bars since the beginning of this year.
Reacting to his latest arrest via Instagram, Samklef said he is the person who made arrangements for it to happen.
Samklef wrote: “I’m behind Verydarkman’s arrest. I have a serious death threat case with him. Verydarkman has been arrested!
“Oya poor envy children make una go protest for una hero. I Samklef, is one of the people behind him being arrested! Don’t play! E needs extra cellcation.”

CorrectNG recalls that earlier this month, VeryDarkman called out popular actresses Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo and music producer Samklef for being responsible for his arrest.
The opinion peddler made this revelation in a video while sharing his experience in custody. He said three of them petitioned the police against him separately and he has three count charges againt him.
In a video he posted on social media, VeryDarkman said Tonto Iyabo and Samklef were alleging cyber bullying and that he had made some vile statements about them.
He, however, cherished his encounter with the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, whom he said spoke with him as a father about the right way to go about demanding for justice.
In the case of actress Iyabo Ojo, VDM said she started it by insulting his parents, and he only retaliated by dragging her own daughter into the drama.
