“He didn’t lie” – Wizkid reacts to Odumodublvck’s comment about Tems, Ayra Starr having more accomplishments than him

Superstar musician, Ayodeji Balogun, otherwise called Wizkid, has agreed with rapper, Odumodublvck’s assertion regarding Tems and Ayra Starr.

CorrectNG recalls that Odumodublvck said Nigerian music stars, Tems and Ayra Starr have done more for the music industry than Afrobeats icons, Fela, Wizkid and Burna Boy.

He revealed that he recently met Tems and her manager, Mayowa, and that was when he made the statement that the achievements of the two female musicians is more than the leading male peers in the industry.

The rapper said partly; “When I was coming to London, I was on the same flight with Tems’ manager, Don Awon. I told Tems, ‘Big up, you did it. What you and Ayra Starr have done is bigger than anything Wizkid, Burna Boy and even Fela have done.’ Quote me anywhere.

“Because as a female artiste, out of every 10 show promoters, 5 want to have sex with you, out of every 10 producers, 5 want to have sex with you, out of every 10 artistes that you look up to and need help from them, 5 want to have sex with you.”

He faced backlash on social media over the comment and in response, Odumodublvck hyped himself, writing; “Kalaaaa– Industry machine.”

Taking to his Twitter (X) page to react, Wizkid agreed that what the ‘Picanto’ crooner said about the two female singers was not a lie.

Quoting the post, Big Wiz wrote; “Kala no lie.”

A user wrote in the comments: “So Ayra Starr and Tems are better than you. I’m glad you used your mouth to say Odumodu is not lying.”

And Wizkid replied; “I see u weren’t raised by a good woman and love at home. Ayra Star and Tems are amazing.”
