Veteran Nigerian female emcee, Adesola Adesimbo Idowu, better known as Weird MC has said that famous rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem is ‘greatly misunderstood.’
She stated this via her Twitter (X) account while showering encomiums on the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner, saying he is multitalented.
The ‘Ijoya’ hit-maker who shared a photo of the Nigerian rap legend, declared her love for him. Weird MC thanked Eedris Abdulkareem for the battles he fought within the industry and noted that she is grateful to God for his life.
She wrote; “His name is Eedris Abdulkareem, multi-talented, fiercely loyal, greatly misunderstood, an industry Pioneer, a friend and a brother Eedris I’m grateful to God for your life I love you bro. Thanks for the industry battles u fought Thank God u are in good health. #Loveoneedris”

CorrectNG recalls that Eedris said he was shocked when his wife, Yetunde, offered to donate her kidney when he fell ill.
He recounted his battle with kidney failure for years and noted that he asked the doctor if the hospital could source for the kidney, but he was informed it had to be a family member.
The musician who dedicated a song to his wife titled, ‘Thank You’, also said that even before she gave her kidney to him, he had always known that she could do anything for him.
He said; “I had always known that she could do anything for me; just like she knows that I can do anything for her. It has always been that way with us.”
Eedris added; “There are a lot of ways I have been showing my jewel of inestimable value my unalloyed appreciation for what she has done for me, and I will never get tired of doing that. She is the most awesome person alive.
She is actually my Siamese twin and our bond is unbreakable. Making a special song for her is one of those things I am doing to thank her, though this is not the first song I have dedicated to her ‘royal loveliness’.”
