Eedris Abdulkareem also fought late rapper, DMX – Daddy Showkey (Video)

Veteran Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey has claimed that rapper Eedris Abdulkareem didn’t have an altercation with only 50 Cent many years ago.

He said the incident which occurred in 2004 was not the first time Eedris clashed with an international, as he earlier had a squabble with late American rapper, DMX, during the All African Games in 2003.

Daddy Showkey revealed this during a recent live interview with online media personality, Daddy Freeze. He also rubbished Abdulkareem’s claims that Charly Boy betrayed him during the incident with 50 Cent.

He said; “In COJA, year 2003, they brought DMX. The same thing Eedris did with 50 Cent is what he did with DMX at Transcorp. DMX was ready to confront him. I was among the people that pleaded with him”.

Nigerian music veteran, Charly Boy disclosed the role he played in quashing the rift between rapper Eedris Abdulkareem and American Hip Hop star, 50 Cent.

It may be recalled that there was an exchange between the two rappers at the Lagos airport in 2004 when 50 requested a seat that Eedris was already sitting on.

Speaking in the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Charly Boy recounted what happened and how he intervened with about 300 powerbikers.

The media personality said he was his hair when he received a call from Abdulkareem that he was being manhandled by 50 Cent’s bouncers.

Charly Boy said he left what he was doing and mobilised men on three thousand bikes to the Murtala Muhammed Airport, where Abdulkareem was. On getting there, he said he was briefed by Abdulkareem and he went to confront 50 Cent.

In his words; “Back then, if I was walking past the motorcycle park and I waved my hand, all the motorcyclists would follow me. So, I stormed the airport with almost 3000 bikes.”
