Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (GSE) Scholarship is a program which supports international students annually. It awards about €800,000 worth of scholarships based on merit.
The GSE scheme offers full financial support to candidates looking to pursue master’s studies in economics or related courses in Spain. The School of Economics scholarship in the 2025 cycle will provide 100% coverage of the tuition fees and stipends to support living expenses.
Barcelona School of Economics (BSE) specialises in research and postgraduate studies in economics, data science and finance. It was established in 2006 by Andreu Mas-Colell as an institution for scientific cooperation between four academic units.
Tuition Fees
If you are a student enrolled in to a bachelor’s or master’s program at a public institution in Spain, the tuition fees range from 150 euros to 3,500 euros per academic year. Studying at private universities is more expensive. Each university determine their tuition fees, but generally, the amount doesn’t exceed 20,000 euros.

- Applicant must prove that they are proficient in the English language
- Candidate must received an offer letter to study at the institution
- You are expected to demonstrate the potential to succeed in the program
Benefits of Scholarship
The annual GSE scholarship is worth €800,000. As a recipient of this scholarship scheme, you will receive waiver covering 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of tuition fees. Beneficiaries will also receive stipends in some cases to cover living expenses.
