Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the sad demise of Veteran Nigerian actor, Zulu Adigwe.
Adigwe is reported to have died on Tuesday evening, April 23, 2024. Unconfirmed reports say the actor had been battling with an undisclosed illness.
Movie producer, Stanley Nwoko broke the news of Adigwe’s death in a post on his oficial Instagram page.
“I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, late Mr Zulu Adigwe. What caused his death is yet to be reviewed. Rest in peace good actor,” he wrote.
During his career, Adigwe was starred in popular movies like; “Living in Bondage”, “Breaking Free”, and many others.
This is the latest in a series of deaths that have rocked the Nigerian movie industry within the first four months of this year.
So far, Nollywood has lost six actors, namely; Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu and Junior Pope.
