Shocking moment Ed Sheeran asked Nigerian mom to keep quiet during in-house performance [Video]
A video making the rounds on social media captures the unbelievable moment British Grammy winner, Ed Sheeran silenced the mother of a Nigerian content creator.
The UK-based online personality, Demz invited Sheeran to his family home for a small performance with his guitar in the living room.
The woman interrupted their session and the singer decided to tell her to keep quiet but she questioned her son to be sure that she heard what the music superstar said.
She told Sheeran that his comment was disrespectful, but he shushed her again and this provoked the mother who started shouting at him.
Demz tried explaining to his mother that the musician did not mean to disrespect her, but that he’s a superstar who is used to talking to people in that manner.
But his mother who does not know Ed Sheeran, said: “That’s very disrespectful, do you know what you just said that I should ‘shush’ my mouth”.
