Rapper Dandizzy starts Shawarma business with his music earnings

Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Daniel Tuotamuno Darius, popularly known as Dandizzy, has revealed that he now runs a fast-food establishment.

The ‘Oppress’ crooner explained in a post on his Twitter (X) page that he set up a shawarma business with money he makes from music, and it cost millions.

Dandizzy stated this while responding to a man who tried to troll him for opening a shawarma store despite being a rapper.

The troll had insinuated that the economic hardship in Nigeria is far reaching that it pushed the rapper into quitting music to start business.

“Dandizzy don quit music, come go open shawarma spot for lekki. Sigh… it must be really tough being an artist in this economy,” the post read.

However, in reaction to the tweet, the musician explained that it cost a lot to launch such a business, and he used his music earnings to do that.

Dandizzy wrote; “Lol werey to open shawarma spot cost millions oo, nah music money I use open am sha patronize me.”

It is important to note that Dandizzy’s business doesn’t only deal in shawarma as it also sells different types of burgers and chicken meals.
