Nigerian superstar singer, David “Davido” Adeleke has lamented that it is not easy getting married to a woman from the South-Eastern region.
The Afrobeats star who tied the knot traditionally with Chioma on Tuesday, June 25 made the claim in a video posted on social media.
Davido who was taking a break mid occasion could be seen having a conversation on music executive, Ubi Franklin’s Instagram live session which is where he talked about the wedding.
The exhausted-looking artiste said; “E no easy. E no easy to marry Igbo woman. Igbo woman, e no easy”.

Meanwhile, the newly married singer, had given some words of assurance to the father and mother of his wife, Chioma during the wedding ceremony.
He promised them that their daughter whom he intends to spend forever with, will be protected and respected in their union.
According to the 31-year-old Grammy nominated musician, he had promised Chioma “a lifetime assurance” and will keep to his words.
Davido said: “I promised her a lifetime assurance. I promise you, your daughter will be protected, respected, and connected. Mummy and daddy, I love you.”
